Thank you all for participating in the 2018 Southern Stoke Paddle Series. We hope you had fun and enjoyed the new locations. With the final race just a week and a half away, we wanted to let you know where you stand.Per the series rules, 5 eligible races are needed to be considered for the final series standing. An eligible race is a race that had at least 3 racers to fill out a podium. If you raced in a race, and there was not a full podium of racers (ie. you were the only one that raced in your category, or 1 of 2 people), that race did not count for series points. With that in mind, we’re not going to penalize you for something that you may not have much control over. Sooo, if you managed to make it to 5 races, despite the number of racers in your category, your name will go into BOTH the Yolo Hammerhead board drawings, and you will be recognized with an award at the Award Ceremony. Read all of this email to find out about the drawings. Next year, bring more friends!

Yolo Hammerhead Board Drawings:
We have 4 Yolo Hammerhead boards that will be given away at the Awards Ceremony. 2 boards for each pot. If you win in one pot, you cannot win in another pot.
Pot 1: Includes ALL recognized award holders (includes those that were in unqualified races, but could have won if there were more participants)
Pot 2: All Racers that have been to 5+ races
Your name could be in each pot. If you win in one pot, you cannot win in another pot. You cannot win 2 boards. You do not have to be present to win, but you must be willing to pick up the board at High Country Outfitters in Atlanta. If you are not present, we will call you at the time of the drawing to check to see if you can pick up the board or have someone bring it to you. If we do not get in touch with you at the time of the drawing, we will draw another name. So if you cannot make it, be sure you have your phone close by on October 13th.
